STAGE PERFORMANCES
Satyavani has been dancing from early childhood for various occasions presented by her Guru Smt. Rema Shrikant's Pataka, which was the predecessor of today's Ellora Center for Performing Arts and later for M.S.University of Baroda and Prof.C.V.Chandrasekhar's Nrityashree. She has given several spellbinding solo performances both in Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam before national and international audience in New Delhi, Baroda, Bombay, Hyderabad, Cleveland, Chicago, St. Bonaventure, NY, etc. She performed in various ballets choreographed by Guru Mrs. Rema Shrikant in the lead role in most of them - Sri Krishna Leela, Venkateshwara Kalyanam, Tulasi Das' Ram Charit Manas, Jayadeva's Gita Govindam, Rasa Ranjani (a depiction of the nine rasas), Nitya Sumangali (the evolution of Bharatanatyam from the temple tradition to today's stage). Satyavani also performed in many ballets choreographed by Prof.C.V.Chandrasekhar which included Aparajita, Arohanam (Darwin's theory of evolution), Vasant Vilas (a depiction of the spring), Pancha Mahabhuta (about the five elements of life).

Satyavani has the distinction of performing in a number of national and international dance festivals, which included International Women's Conference and Indian Science Congress - both in Baroda, Music and Dance Festival at Kalakshetra, Music Academy and Krishna Gana Sabha - all the three in Madras, International Dance Festival and Conference on Pancha Mahabhuta at the Indira Gandhi National Center for Arts - both in New Delhi, Festival of Dance organized by the ITC group in Bangalore and Hyderabad, and various other dance festivals at Coimbatore, Ankleshwar, Ahmedabad, etc. She was also awarded a first prize in classical dance for her exquisite performances at the Rotary Inter-city Meet held in Baroda as well as at the Rotary District Conference held in Anand. Satyavani also actively took part and won prizes in Garba and many other folk dances of India.

Satyavani represented India at the Annual International Festival of Culture at Skokie, Illinois in 1995 and 1996, where she performed the well-known traditional Kuchipudi item - Balagopala Tarangam and won special recognition. She also participated in various cultural events organized by University of Chicago, Asian-pacific week at Harper College, Palatine, IL, Baroda Andhra Samiti, Andhra Mahasabha of Bombay, Telugu Kala Samiti of Vashi, Federation of Indian Cultural Association (FICA) of Cleveland, Tristate Telugu Association of Chicago, Telugu Association of Greater Chicago (TAGC), Indian Cultural Association of Skokie, etc. The FICA honored Satyavani for her exceptional dedication to the cause and culture of the Asian-Indian community of North-East Ohio.
Her captivating performance at Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple of Greater Chicago on the occasion of Navagraha Pratishtapana won several accolades from everyone in the audience.
Satyavani has the rare honor of giving a lecture-cum-demonstration on special invitation from the St. Bonaventure University, St. Bonaventure, NY on Dance, Religion, Psychology and Stress, sponsored by the University.
