ELLORA CENTER FOR PERFORMING ARTS (ECPA)

ECPA is a cultural phenomenon functioning from Dallas-Fort Worth Metro area (DFW), USA  and Baroda, India. Cultural boundaries, however, are not barriers for ECPA since it desires to relate with the Ellora age of ancient India. The formation of ECPA was the inspiration of Gurus Rema Shrikant and Satyavani Iswara, who wished to institutionalize the efforts of promising performing artistes, under one umbrella and provide means for their inherent talents to blossom. The objectives of ECPA are to promote the cause of all dance forms, such as Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohiniattam and others; and to provide infrastructure and training facilities necessary for performers to improve in their art.

ECPA intends to promote Indian culture and tradition through the budding Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam dancers who undergo vigorous training for perfection and professionalism under the able stewardship of Satyavani Iswara. Her zeal to spread the ideals embodied by ECPA, prompted Satyavani to bring the young dancers in this country under the ECPA banner. In this way the dancers can acquire art and expression through teamwork under the guidance of Satyavani's experience. It is upon the achievements of these budding performers that our society will build the values for further growth of the art and culture of India.

Cannot they therefore bank upon ECPA, to show them the way, to identify their strengths and provide them the opportunities, to mold their creative abilities into perfection? If yes, then ECPA is a step in that direction. What is required further is, the encouragement and wholehearted support from one and all, so that these goals will be achieved. Satyavani, at ECPA looks forward to bringing this vision to fruition.
