ELLORA CENTER FOR PERFORMING ARTS (ECPA) of DFW
Satyavani Iswara (Vani) established Ellora Center for Performing Arts (ECPA) in USA in honor of the institute started by her Guru Smt. Rema Shrikant in India , where Vani was teaching until she moved to the United States . She has been teaching Bharatanatyam in the DFW area since 2003. ECPA conducts classes in the studios in Flower Mound and Coppell areas in Texas. The goal of Ellora Center for Performing Arts is to promote Indian Classical Dance through the budding dancers who undergo rigorous training for perfection and professionalism under the guidance of Artistic Director, Satyavani Iswara. With the blessings of the almighty and Vani's Gurus, ECPA has grown into a premier dance institute in Dallas area. Each year, dance enthusiasts look forward to the enchanting choreographies of Vani at the Natya Samarpanam shows where all the students are given opportunity to showcase their talents.
ECPA intends to promote Indian culture and tradition through the budding Bharatanatyam dancers who undergo rigorous training for perfection and professionalism under the able stewardship of Satyavani Iswara. Her zeal to spread the ideals embodied by ECPA, prompted Satyavani to bring the young dancers in this country under the ECPA banner. In this way the dancers can acquire art and expression through teamwork under the guidance of Satyavani's experience. It is upon the achievements of these budding performers that our society will build the values for further growth of the art and culture of India.
Cannot they therefore bank upon ECPA, to show them the way, to identify their strengths and provide them the opportunities, to mold their creative abilities into perfection? If yes, then ECPA is a step in that direction. What is required further is, the encouragement and wholehearted support from one and all, so that these goals will be achieved. Satyavani, at ECPA looks forward to bringing this vision to fruition.
